History: The team was formed in the summer of 2008. Some of the players are experienced sunday league players that have played in the London & Kent Border League before, whilst others have been brought out of premature retirement to sign up or have this season made the step up from Junior to Adult football. All of the team are close friends that regularly socialise together in The Hand and Marigold Public House on Bermondsey Street and if we are as successful on the pitch as we are in the pub then i'm sure we will be a force to be reckoned with! Whilst expecting the competition in the LKB to be difficult we are confident that the blend of youth and experience the side possesses will enable us to achieve the success we aim for over the coming seasons. Our home kit is made up of Blue/Yellow shirts, with Blue shorts and Blue socks. The home kit is sponsored by London Dry Cleaners (http://www.londondrycleaners.com/). Our away kit consists of Red/Blue shirts, with Blue shorts and Red socks. The team is jointly managed by Carl Duffett and Terry Grant, who are also both still registered as players, and the secretarial work is also carried out by Carl Duffett.
